Outrun

Service, Branding and Interior design for Outrun Facilities.

Outrun is a project, born from the necessity of a space to support external running athletes. This spaces are equiped with the basic needs for an athlete to run: bathhouse, lockers and shops.

This project was developed under a curricular briefing on the Aveiro University. The objective was to develop from root a business idea with all the design elements required to run it.

The project have had a particular dimension derivated from all the elements developed. For it to be possible was needed a conjunction of 5 people from different specialities in design. My principal role in this project was essentialy the physical spaces.

Other elements have also been developed for the project. The website were developed as a platform for the conection between Outrun and the clients, news and basic info for the runners/athletes and a online shop where the clients can buy equipment.

One of the most difficult challenges we faced was the lack of space in the facilities. From that we have had to take a careful with the layout of the space.

The project was then submitted to the 6º Students Edition of BID, and Ibero American Design Meeting. There we achieved an Honorable Mention (see link bellow).
